Lapua brass is made to very high standards. Lapua cases are kept 15 minutes in a one percent of mercurous nitrate solution to indicate that there is no residual stress. They also come annealed unlike Norma brass.

Benchrest Loads:

139gr Lapua Scenar @ 2,820 fps, 40.7gr H4350, CCI BR2, Lapua brass.

Alliant's new Reloder 17 powder is a perfect match to the .260 Remington. Recent testing has shown that an additional 125-175 fps with the 139-142 grainers can be achieved.
