This time it's about when I fireform the 6 PPC loads I've made up I have decided to use some Imperial on the cases.

My point here is that I am thinking of only lubing the forward portion of the body and the neck/shoulder area.

Does this make sense to anyone? Is it the corrct way?

Thanks

D

I would say most don't lube the case, but there is nothing wrong with it either. The PPC should close on the shoulder when it is in the 220 Russian form, similar to an ACK. A lot of people just fireform when they are shooting a match, using those for barrel foulers. You wouldn't want any lube in there at that time.
