WHere is the best place to buy a Garmin 496?

Thanks Mark. The reason I ask is I was talking to a friend the other day about his and I asked how much the 496 cost these days. He says $1200 and sometimes can find a deal where they throw in a free XM trial offer. I still havent found a deal close to that! I just need to call my buddy back!! I plan to use it in the spray plane to monitor weather, seems every time I need to look at the radar on my Blackberry the damn thing is locked up/out of service area or some other problem! The 496 will also come in handle on an occational cross country drive/flight or hike. I may look at the 396 or if Garmin would give the 96C XM capability that one would suit me fine.

I tell people that electronics nowadays is about the only place where procrastination pays off. And the other side to that coin is that when you do buy something, in a couple months it is cheaper and has twice the capability....

Your exactly right!! Im the worlds worst about waiting until it gets cheaper! Ive been intending on buying a handheld gps for years!
