Guess who supplied yours?  I have to check but US bought the french cannon, maybe through FN who belonged to GIAT. Many advanced features as well..... a) VNMF [Viva Napoleon Mo Fo's] Plays 150 decibal "Viva Napoleon" soundtrack through pod mounted speakers. b) GCM2 [Gaseous Cluster Munitions Morbier] can be used as missile defensive chaf or infantry immobilizing gas bombs. c) GAPAHA [Greenpeace Activist Projectile Absorber Hull Armor] d) GCASB [German Crew Accomodation System Bratwurst] console mounted dispenser to keep them distracted. Au contraire, mon ami. "Yes, some helicopters can indeed do loops, barrel rolls and even hammerheads … although it takes a specifically designed ‘rigid’ main rotor system. Such rotor systems are dominantly found on military-type helicopters with the exception of a few civilian helicopters." [from http://www.rjhelicopters.com/photo_gallery.htm] I'm not a helicopter pilot but Caudle is (was?) and he says a lot of helos are capable not of an actual 'loop' but more like a backward somersault. And of course you may not have a main rotor when you come out of the loop - other than that, no problems. Did I mention that I absolutely hate helos?? Edmond, I was not sure of course, but figured it had the FN stamp on it somewhere. Those folks are quite happy here in the "deep south" of the U.S. these days. Would venture a guess that the electric drive system is GE. We all know they "bring good things to life." | |||
