Sweet.

Would love to see the Mach Loop in action. It is a plane lovers paradise - when it's not raining...

I was there in June on holidays with the wife and all I saw was a couple piston engine trainers. They do post what is flying about 2 weeks prior but nothing spectacular happened while I was looking.

I saw an F-15 fly by the other day. Hadn't seen that in a while......

They fly pretty regularly along with the F-35's in Destin Florida out of Eglin AFB.

The 15s are freaking loud and the F-35's are amazingly quiet in comparison. Of course that might just be that the F-35 had a complete systems failure and flameout... hard to tell really.

LOL!! Here in Southern Oregon, I occasionally get a glimpse of an F-15 out of K-Falls or Portland. That's about all the USAF jets I get to see anymore.

BTW, as we all know, and F-15 would wax an F-35 in a dogfight, and THAT is a travesty...

We should have built the Silent Eagle and upgraded the Super Hornet and built a thousand F-22s.

But it's difficult to hand out political favors on existing platforms.

Building some parts for the ones still flying would be a start. Course, you gotta have money for crews too, which apparently is short supply.

Well the good news is, pilots are not exactly lining up to fly the F-35 Widow Maker.

But to its credit, I have read that it flies in a straight line pretty well when the flight computer is working.
