I have only posted above in the hunting and guns stuff for a few years but this video just came out and thought some would love to hear the story first hand.

By the way he is my Uncle Eddie my DAD's brother. My dad was also a WWII and Korea Vet but in the Navy. What a different world.

Larry, your uncle what a person and a great attitude for life. I could not imagine flying with two engines out and navigating through the valleys. It is good to see stories like this. Our challanges are nothing compared to what these guys accomplished.

A Hero indeed! A big thank you from me for his service and I hope we can all learn from him! My next door neighbor was a P-47 pilot in the ETO during WWII. His outlook is much the same as your uncles. God Bless them both!


30+ years experience tells me that perfection hit at .264. Others are adequate but anything before or after is wishful thinking.
