elk88101Hero's of WWII
I have only posted above in the hunting and guns stuff for a few years but this video just came out and thought some would love to hear the story first hand.
http://www.buffalonews.com/cit...rt/article736334.eceBy the way he is my Uncle Eddie my DAD's brother. My dad was also a WWII and Korea Vet but in the Navy. What a different world.
If you want send emails to me with comments and I will pass them on to my uncle he is 90 this year.

Singleshot03Larry, your uncle what a person and a great attitude for life. I could not imagine flying with two engines out and navigating through the valleys. It is good to see stories like this. Our challanges are nothing compared to what these guys accomplished.

adamhunterA Hero indeed! A big thank you from me for his service and I hope we can all learn from him! My next door neighbor was a P-47 pilot in the ETO during WWII. His outlook is much the same as your uncles. God Bless them both!

friarmeierI'd hate to have to "get-out" of the front end of a B-24; looks damn crowded, especially if everything "isn't working"!
