While browsing around, I came across this write up of the B25 that hit the Empire State building back in 1945: http://www.aerospaceweb.org/question/history/q0311.shtml One question I have never had answered is how was the plane recovered? I think the fuselage was stuck in the outside of the building, but it was a while ago so I don't exactly remember. Does anyone know what was recovered and what parts fell to the ground? Am I mistaken and the entire fuselage went inside the building? for every hour in front of the computer you should have 3 hours outside

"They don't build em like they used to" ALLEN W. JOHNSON - DRSS Into my heart on air that kills From yon far country blows: What are those blue remembered hills, What spires, what farms are those? That is the land of lost content, I see it shining plain, The happy highways where I went And cannot come again. A. E. Housman

I know one engine went through the building and exited the other side and landed on top of an adjacent building.
