I grew up 50 miles from the General Dynamic factory where those were built. I have seen them thousands of times. They used to make regular low level high speed training runs over the farm. I never saw flames though. | |||

They could have dumped fuel like that 4 places behind a B-58 but they seem to flame often enough without any help. I saw one of them burn on the ground in 1958. | |||
