Ten Best F-111 "Pig" Dump And Burn Moments Of All Time!
Here is a very interesting display of flying with a "flare".....the old F-111, many don't know it even existed!! It was active while I was in the Air Force but I have never seen this display!!

once in a while they'd show up at Offutt, in camo. Nice afterburner rings

I grew up 50 miles from the General Dynamic factory where those were built. I have seen them thousands of times. They used to make regular low level high speed training runs over the farm.
I never saw flames though.

If you are going to waste fuel, I can't think of a more glorious way to do it unless you could hitch that dump mechanism to a Vulcan!

There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn’t.

They could have dumped fuel like that 4 places behind a B-58 but they seem to flame often enough without any help. I saw one of them burn on the ground in 1958.
