Cool video! After my first tour in C-130s, I got to be an instructor in the T-38, which is very similar to the F-5. IIRC, the F-5 had a little more thrust--maybe just from engines that hadn't been detuned, but the T-38 was perhaps a little lighter. The F-5 had LE slats and a drag chute where the T-38 didn't. A motivated person could look up the differences to see if my memory is accurate...........

Anyway, I got very good and flying and instructing fingertip formation and can tell you from personal experience that the T-38 can be pitch sensitive and extremely roll sensitive. There was always a small amount of constant movement when in fingertip.

These guys are doing a great job!
