Looks like a 25mm 3X lesar model. (see link below).
A nice 25mm 4X lovec model with vintage claw mounts recently sold on e___ for under $400.
So, make it $350 for the barreled action plus $400 = $750 Not too far off.

vintage meopta's

You forgot the $250 I will charge to mill the dovetail in the ring, and fit, and solder the rear claw base, to the receiver. So, $850 doesn't look that bad now.

Concerning trades, do you have any use for a 1914 Win. Model 12 in 16G, or a newer Ithaca Model 37 in 12G, or an early Browning A5 in 12G? Just throwing out ideas.

You're up against a bit of prejudice with the dovetail in the ring.

Having said that..it IS in the proper spot... (forward) in the thrad area

I wouldn't sweat the dovetail for a non-magnum 8X57. Never saw one grenade because of that. Same with the so-called softy '09 Argy's.
Disclaimer. I am no expert! It is only my novice-educated opinion.
Worth a bump.
For the O.P. Have you considered selling the rifle and scopemounts and scope separately? I would.

Absolutely NOT!!! That is a really bad idea.
Fitting a new scope to existing bases, or vice versa, is very expensive and there are few who will do it. So, if you have a set like this; do not break it apart.

I agree. I had that set up on my 8X56 Mannlicher when I bought the rifle + it took me 2 years to get the kid to sell me the scope + ring assembly.

Sometimes it works the other way though; I was at the DesMoines show many years ago; guy walked in with a Mauser sporter, with claw bases. $200 he said. I said ok, paid him, and then he reaches in his coat and pulls out the matching claw mounted scope; Here, this goes with it. I was floored!
