For sale, Kar98k made in 1944, trigger guard is Mauser. Has claw mounts and Meopta scope. Chambering is believed to be 8mm but barrel is unmarked. Projects are stacking up and I need to make some room. Would make a great platform to build off of. Have lots of pictures if someone would be willing to post them for me.
$850 plus actual shipping to your FFL within the US.
Also, big thanks to our local mauser expert "dcpd" for helping verify whats what before listing.
That scope + claw mount system are superb. I have had them on my Mannlicher's + they are Q.D, + back on point in an instant. + you're right, there is nothing wrong with the 8mm, I like the 7mm but that is just a personal choice.

TNTBR The price does sound a little high. But, I'm not sure what the value of the small tube scope and rings is. Mod 98 marked actions (?) are worth $275 to $300 unless that has changed recently.
Life itself is a gift. Live it up if you can.

Small tube? That looks like a 26mm to me. Price fitted claw mounts and you will see; those are not cheap. And yes, it was a Mod 98 (as all Kar98Ks are), and I do not sell them for that cheap since the year 2000. Here is the price quote from NECG, does not include the bases, and I won't do them for this: "Average price to fit claw mount rings to existing claw mount bases: $800 or $985 if we are fitting a second scope to be used along with an original scope."
