Hey guys: I'm trying to dispose of some of the "duplicates" in my collection and I have another of these carbines, also in .270 (with a rare cheekpiece for a left-hander, no less). So, this one needs to go to a home where it will receive more attention and be taken out for exercise every now and then. An outstanding example of European craftsmanship in a rifle. These Austrians were among the highest regarded pieces, now, of course, no longer manufactured. This is the Model 1952, spoon handle bolt, amazing double set triggers, and TWO safeties. Should you want to use a scope instead of the irons it is drilled and tapped for the Redfield M-S base mount, using regular Redfield/Leupold/Burris turn-in rings of the height and diameter of your choice. Condition is well over 95% with a perfect bore and excellent bluing, and one or two very light marks on the wood. Looks like it was rarely or never hunted with, and I've only fired it at the bench to check the sights. I'm going to offer it for somewhat less than I see asked on the various sale sites for $1,200 plus $60 shipping. That's probably below "market", but a couple of bucks more than I paid several years ago, so I'll pass it along at an attractive price. url=https://postimg.cc/dZhVhXh3] ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||
