How about 9.3x66/370 SAKO? I have one a 1640 and it's the bees knees.

I have 2 of these guns. One of them has wood that is impressive, It was built in 1933 and shoots 1/2 groups.

I think maybe back then, they used whatever walnut they found with no attention given to beauty. Good or bad. One is gorgeous one has no character at all.

If you refinish some of these guns with a proper hand rubbed oil finish, it can really make that grain come out.

I had it reamed out to 9.3x64, new bolt handle and 3 pos safety on both of them.

I am very fond of these guns.

Wendell, if you go to the initial post, there is an Imgur link that should work.
