I am offering for sale a pretty rare, special and unobtainable Hagn rifle; one of Martin’s last single shot falling block actions recently completed into a rifle by Martin’s former partner Ralf Martini now of Hartman & Weiss. Ralf, fitted, polished, detailed, installed all parts of the action, custom barrel, open sights , quarter rib etc.. Ralf’s Canadian engraver Warren Smith designed and executed the engraving. Highly regarded USA Master stocker and gun builder Reto Buehler flawlessly created the falling block stock from a remarkable and magnificent exhibition Australian walnut blank completed with many of Reto’s custom touches. Rifle is a .223 Remington, 1 in 8” twist on Martin’s Mini Max Falling Block Action. Pics and more details on Guns International listing # 103224917 Asking $24,000.00 New Unfired Condition

Another beyond blatant attempt to capitalize on a fine gentleman's death by offering a rifle he did not build shortly after his demise for two prices with proceeds not going to surviving family. A pox on you~ ACGG Life Member, since 1985

Stephen Dodd Hughes, I wasn’t even going to respond to your alcoholic induced drama since you are usually a bit out of your mind the past few years by noon . But, since you felt the need to jump on my post and you felt the sale of my rifle is your business I decided to respond. I see you erased most of your above post after my phone call to you. The action was purchased from Martin Hagn’s daughter Christel, after Christel had read Martin’s and my many email(s) correspondence about acquiring a couple of his actions, and Christel contacted me personally upon Martin’s passing. Ralf Martini, Martin’s former partner acquired the action from Christel for me and did the required Canadian firearms paperwork. Ralf finished the barreled action and as a for profit business I paid Ralf. Hopefully you can fill in the blanks from there Stephen Dodd Hughes. Stephen, so we are clear, per your reply on my post, you are directing me that I also should give the proceeds from my sales of my Jerry Fisher, Stephen Heilman, Pete Grisel, Don Allen rifles that I had custom built to their respective families also?? Don’t we all love the openness of the internet. I just love when these types with substance abuse problems feel the need to share their morals to save the world for us. TFF 4WD

I bought two Hagn actions that he started, then died and Ralf finished. It was a business transaction that I am grateful Ralf chose to step in and finish. There is always more to the story, but my dealings were straight up and I got the actions for a project. Not sure why anyone cares where the proceeds go or what the legacy of the rifle is... Hard to fathom whey this is an "issue".

Dogcat, Yes similar friendly and positive business dealings with Ralf Martini and myself, along with the fact Martin’s daughter Christel reached out to me after Martin’s passing knowing of Martin’s and my email and phone call communications. Both Christel and Ralf were well paid for everything they did for me. Both you and I ,per your comment “Hard to fathom why this is an issue” is so bizarre from why Stephen Hughes thinks this is any of his business. Stephen Hughes also felt the need to derail my post on the Stephen Heilman Mauser I have up for sale. I guess Stephen Hughes bizarre thought processes is that “any of us Gun cranks when selling a custom gun from any of the deceased masters , the proceeds should not go to the one having the gun commissioned but to the estate of the deceased builder”. Why Hughes feels the need to derail my posts , just shows his current dysfunctional state. Maybe I should just delete these posts and start all over again fresh and see if SDH can refrain from his gibberish? For both the Heilman/Hagn/Buehler rifles along with a few other custom rifles built during this time were all very happy and fun builds. Both of these rifles are very unique and special rifles; it is just unfortunate of their makers untimely passing.
