I'm looking for a trade. I want a S+W model 57, 4 or 6 inch blue. I have a NIB Colt 1911 38 Super, 70 series, that I got from Ray Atkinson here on AR in another recent trade. I've also got a 3 screw, flattop Blackhawk, 41 mag. that I'm thinking about selling or trading. End of the day though, I'm hoping to end up with a 57. Thanks for looking.

I know this is no help, but I'm still lamenting the day back around 2008 that I sold my New in presentation case 4 inch blue Model 57 for $800. I needed the 800 more that the gun at the time. alas...

If you change course on barrel length, I have an 8-3/8” available.

I may have one, will have to dig through a couple safes to confirm. Know I picked up several blued S&W from an older gentleman about 9-10 years back and two were 41 mag. Pretty sure both 4” but think one was fixed rear sight and can’t say for sure on the other. Feel free to PM and I’ll send you my cell and can text pics of whatever I find.
Cheers,
Will

There is one list on the smith & wesson forum right now, not mine and I don't know the seller but it looks like a nice one.

I dug into the safes and my aging memory was correct. I do have both a M-58 4", Sn N2610xx, and a M-57 also 4" Sn N6694XX. Haven't looked up age, but believe likely 70's-80's-ish. the 57 is mint but no box, and 58 would be mint but has some marks on the backstrap.

Sorry though, I do not need any of the trades referenced. Happy to discuss if you reach of point of wanting to buy. New on this forum, but long positive history on the campfire forums and others as wildwillalaska.
