Looking into a hunt for mouflon. And I've more or less narrowed it down to Croatia. Because of the scenery and possibility to add a chamois to the bag Smiler

Any advice on outfitters?
Not neccesary looking for top trophies (which I probably can't afford), but a good representative.
What would a good representative measure?
I do want the right kind of curl and not what I think is called an "einwachser".

Some offer hunting for trophies up to 60 or 70 cm. Any pictures of what they would look like?

You'll enjoy the hunt Anders, hunt the 'Rut' and you have a good chance to listen to them crash horns, late October where I hunted.

If I remember correctly, this one was 70cm, which I shot in Czech a few years ago, Waidmannsheil, Dom.

Hello,
Croatia is the place where I would like to hunt mofflon, too. The scenery is stunning and it's premium mofflon terrain.

I've hunted in croatia for fallow deer and I enjoyed it very much (report is here somewhere). The same outfitter is organising hunts for mouflon as well. He is a very nice and honest guy and I can highly recommend his sevice.
His name is gregor, tell him regards from dennis Wink

Edit: here my report http://forums.accuratereloadin...801031141#7801031141
I'd recommend you add a few days after th mouflon and do the fallows as well Wink

Anders, I sat in a high seat in the Czech Rep one night about 5 years ago. I had a 270 over my knees watching a massive Moufflon under a full moon. Out of season. I could have cried.

Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not out to get you....

I visited Senj, Croatia in 2008. and tried with a good pair of hiking boots, the challenges faced by walking in the Velebit mountains after Mouflon and Chamois.

My guide was Josip, owner of J & P Agent, here can be seen some pictures of what he can offer.
