"I must have been pissed......."

You were; apparently your room mate was snoring like Moby Dick so you sought out the solitude of the sofa in the lounge.
All went well until your own snores woke Quiddy who came over to investigate the strange phenomena as any good dog would ....
It seems that he decided that the lick of life was an appropriate welcome to his new room mate.
As I recall, your heartfelt and colourful profanities were what woke me and brought me to the scene.....

Oh yes, now that you mention I do remember escaping the snoring of what sounded like a lung-shot rhinoceros and waking up from a very pleasant dream about Kylie to a bitter disappointment indeed.

I knew Kylie's tongue couldn't be that rough! Big Grin sofa

Good Stuff Agent Pink.

You bringing the smoke pole for the hares? I know you don't like shooting them but if you can't see because of the smoke, then perhaps you can get round the idea!!

Sorry Pal, I like to see hares, not shoot them - as you know. Good idea about the smoke pole though (works on the pheasants) Big Grin

Shot my first CWD of the season this evening, very immature buck, but nice even though.

See you in Wales

I am very interested in this and I really would like to know what the prices would be for a go at some CWDs before or afterSmiler

30-32 gram 5 shot is perfect medicine for hares btwSmiler

I also would like to know if I can bring and use my 223 on Muntjac and CWD or do you need a special cullers permit for that?
I can always bring my 6.5-06 or even my 375 Ruger if they are considered to be DG BOOM

Spaces are limited so please let me know if you are in for sure or not. I think we have 4-5 spaces left.

Hares are set for the Thursday before the commencement of festivities. Cost is £95/gun including a packed lunch

Finally everyone will need public liability insurance as always. If you don't have it then please let me know so I can provide it for you. Cost is £25 for a full years cover.

CWD can be arranged to coincide at £90/outing. Trophy fees are as follows:

CWD Fees are:

Gold £750
Silver £650
Bronze £550
Cull Buck £200

For those that need Import permits for rifles we should get that ball rolling.

K

Hey guys,

all looks good and it seems we are getting to be quite a team. I don't think there is much space left now.

I would like to get all the permit applications in before Xmas please so if everyone PM me their e-mail address, (if they need a visitors permit) and I will get the questionairre out to you on Thursday when I've finished this and the next hunt I am on.

In the meantime if each applicant could send me their original EU firearms pass (if you are an EU citizen) or a certified copy of their local gun licence then I can get the ball rolling.

We were talking about the hunt with Anders tonight and I'm really looking forward to it now. Can't wait to see the gang again.

NO REALTREE UNDERWEAR ALLOWED!!!

Rgds,
K

Kiri,

As opposed the the underwear ..... let's try this:

I don't want to stir things up and perhaps a call to your local Firearm's Authority would help but according to what I've read concerning the UK; after October 2011 recipricating EU countries require only a COPY of the applicant's EU Firearms Pass.

Sweden is the only other remaining EU country that hasn't made the move.

Gerry

If that's the case then that is fine. A scanned copy emailed to me will make for a speedy application mate.

I will speak to the FEO when I get home as each force interprets things as they see fit here in the UK!!

Hey all,

Looks like we may have another addition to the hunt.

Let's just say that Anders' problem won't be in persuading his missus that he needs to go hunting any more. More a case of finding out what the 2x1 PH rate is!!

K

Hi all,

I have just spoken to the estate about the Hare shoot. We both forgot that it is illegal too sell hares in March and they would rather that we don't do a day where we kill 150 hares and can't sell them.

Please PM me if you have your flights booked already and I would suggest that we go out and either shoot some pigeons or some more deer for that day.

Sorry again for the mistake.

K
