Hello

Some friends of mine are looking at doing some driven wild Boar hunting in Europe next year. They have never done it before and they have asked me to get as much information on where is best to go and what sort of prices would they be looking at etc.

Can anyone recommend any outfitters that you have hunted with?

Thanks
Mike

With kind regards
Mike

Mike, in order that your friends to have an unforgettable experience is important to give us more details. Since I have only this information will try to give you some ideas about wild boar driven hunts in Europe, including Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, etc.. And because I organize this type of hunts in Romania will start, obviously, with my country.
Advantages: all boars are wild and trophies are exceptional, without false modesty, I think the only country more biggest trophies that Romania is Turkey, but Turkey is not in Europe.
Disadvantages: the existence of the trophy fees. Males have 23 teeth, 24 cm can reach or even exceed 1,000 euros.
Bulgaria
Very similar to Romania.
Hungary
Advantages: hunts are well organized with many boars at the end of the hunt.
Disadvantages: too many fenced hunting areas. Open hunting areas cames with quite large fees.
Poland
Advantages: plenty of action for reasonable amounts, some of the best prices in Europe.
Disadvantages: the size of wild boars, very few wild boar exceed 100 kilograms.

George

I am not that experience as compared to many members here

But from the guys I have spoken to or met

You are not short of customers here

I will stick my neck out and say very few of

us here are interested in large boar ot trophy

I am happy to pay for boar shooting and get

shall we say a boar per drive under 100

kilograms rather than paying 11,000 euro for the king of boars - like a friend of mine did

It's the rush and experience we all want rather than trophy

Am I right guys ?

Can you organise such a hunt
Flat fee
Lots of angry boars
Average size

Over to you

The point I was making is that he got shafted !

It was in Hungary 02 years ago and the estate was measuring the tusk with a pair of caliper and charging per millimeter !

Londonhunter,
I can organise such of hunt, but I need to know how many wild boars the group hunters wants to shoot.
For example: package of 3 days of hunt, 10 hunters, between 10 and 20 wild boars regardless of size cost...
package of 3 days of hunt, 10 hunters, between 20 and 30 wild boars regardless of size cost....
Ps: the average size will be 110-120 kilos Wink

i think londonhunter means he would like a offer along the lines of the offer you and i sat down and looked at.

which were extremely fair, and the only reason it never came to frutation is my damn calender.

Flat rate means complete price including pigs so no trophy fee's, like we have talked about.

i hope this helps.

as an after thought i would like to mention that dina seems like a very nice and proffesionel outfitter who will bend over backwards to make sure you get the time of your life, and depending on the calender i for one would love to come along for a good pig drive as well.

best

I'm making up a group for Poland for the coming winter. It's rifles only.
3 days hunting and 4 nights full board. Fixed price - no extra trophy fees (only extras are tips & airport transfers).
Bigger the group, the lower the price!
Results from some previous trips are on my web site. But folk need to contact me through the web site contact us page (too many mischief makers and lurkers out there in the world wide web)

Thank you Peter

Dina, most of my hunting friends struggle to take time off work.

Since transport in Europe now are so easy,

How about 02 days shooting

04 drives per day so total 08 drives and use

Friday as a travel day finishing Sunday night

with a hog roast Saturday night ?

This format works for nearly everybody I have

come across and I might be able to convince

more than 07 to come.

You never know ............

So let me get this straight. The hunt is 1400 Euros, and includes 20-30 boars? We get ourselves there and rent a motel or are we put up and fed? Do you have a rifle I could rent?

thanks for the info

Sir, everything is included except fly tickets to and from Romania, tipps for the beaters and rental of rifles, although I strongly recommend you to bring the rifle with which you are accustomed. Hunting area will not be fenced, so, I can not guarantee an exact number of boars, but I can guarantee that most hunters will have at least three, four occasions to shoot and will not be held discussion on the number of wild boars in the hunting area.

More information anyone??

If you look on the "Outfiters - Offered and Discounted Hunts" forum, you'll find this thread:

http://forums.accuratereloadin...2100588/m/4771086931

It seems Dina has been working with another company, and they have now fallen out with each other. It also appears that Dina's previous partners are now using Dina's AR account to post these rather confusing messages. Not sure what the issue is, or if a fix is in sight?

apparently george and his partners had a fall out, i still think george seems like a best bet for a trip and i am putting money down on this Smiler

i dont belive the allegations from his former partners, and find it is a bit poor form to seek retibution on the forums and in this way.

but we could possible arrange a contract with george that londonhunter or another trusted individual could hold the money untill we have concluded the hunt, and that way everybody is satisfied about the financial security of this trip ?

just an idea Smiler

Peter , MHO

I have been negotiating off line with George about a boar trip in November 2011.

As I type this thread I have 07 confirmed places. Most of them are NOT from AR.

I sense there will be a few more from this forum and will make a very amicable group that will gel.

I purposely did not want to discuss things on line since last year I think the thread generated 2500 posts (just for 01 trip) and in the end we were discussing pending surgical operations rather than hunting.

Totally unwarranted.

I am happy to take on the organization of this hunt providing I don't get hundred of P.M. with "may be" or "perhaps'

I believe George can provide the BEEF but they really have to resolve their differences off line.

I personally will not hand over a penny until I am sure who we are going in with and conditions.

Indeed, looks like the untruthful acusations of my ex partners have reached their target. I will pay the deposit towards the owner of the hunting area, from my own money. I think that it would be best that your deposit should stay with one of the forum members. At the time of arrival in Romania, the entire amount can be paid in full. I have nothing to hide and I am 100% legitimate.

George,

Did you get the situation with your AR account sorted out?? Like: change the password??

It would be nice to know posts are from you when filed from your account.

Ah yes, the "George Dina" account seems to be the new incarnation (13 posts , registered 24-Jan-2011). The "old" account seems to have been "Dina George" (registered 29-Apr-2010).

Thanks for clearing this up.

Benjamin, I was in charge of the advertising for the company and I was also doing all the hunting, taking the clients from the airport, finding new and better hunting grounds. I was doing all the work, and my associates were taking a equal share of the earnings, like I did. It wasnt fair at all and as you all probably know the slavery times are long gone. They had all my accounts from all the forums and when I quited the company, they changed all the passwords, including to my emails. They are in a big trouble now, because they donțt understand much about hunting and they donț have acces to the hunting grounds. They are trying to stain my good name as a bitter revenge and they are using my old username of this forum now. This is my new username now. I hope you can all understand that I am really sorry for this situation and that I feel truly ashamed that my old partners are such morons.

you're right londonhunter , there are two separate accounts.

one is of Unforgettable HUNTING is the one made in the past by our Company and other recently made George Dina.

I tried to change the account name from Dina George in Unforgettable HUNTING to have not the same name like this person but I did't managed until now to get a message from administrators of the site

Please be very carefull when you read the post until we will change this situation.

All the posts from the username Dina George until 05 December 2010 were made by me, because I had acces to the account. From that date, they got a hold of my account and they are posting on my name. As a proof, since George Dina is my TRUE name, I can scan a copy of my ID and post it here. I have a plea to the admin of this forum. Please, delete or ban the username Dina George because is doing nothing more than spread lies and confusion.
