I agree! I have one in 30-06 and am adding barrels as we speak. My next rifle will be the magnum variant, for the 8x68, 6.5x68, and 375.

Why not looking for a Ruger Mk 77 ?

Pretty fine rifle - the best in my safe!

Another very good ides (what I will go next) is a Heym SR21 or SR30 - go and order it with that nice option an LED-Sight (LED powered front sight) on it...

To inform that someone has since been tested the safety of this rifle compared to other rifles http://www.testfakta.se/Article.aspx?a=16350
Is it forbidden to resurrect a post? If so sorry for that.
Any way a happy new year beer

Thanks Bjarne

No Bjarne, its not forbidden (thanks God very few things are forbidden around here!)
But let me say that even your reason for the "resurrection" is, in itself, a "resurrection" as it has been posted here before:
Obstruction tests

Happy New Year
