Why didn't he shoot the GPS collar or fix it at least to a truck going long distance?

Unfortunately in Italy, apart from several other problems, we currently have a real left-wing/communist governement, further poisoned by a couple of Greens ministers, one of these is the obnoxious Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio. He will supposedly ask to the slovenians authorities to move the bear hunting area ahead from the italian border .

Game and politics - never worked out - however we have a realy healthy bear population here (imo it is increasing) with tensions of moving toward west-northwest (Italy, Austria) so bears are on their way - you will soon get some of them by natural migrations P.S. Same with wolves.

I'm happy to hear that. Unfortunately, our media, strictly linked to Greens/WWF, affirm the opposite; they always cry and scream about the risk of extinction.
