My family is going to Vienna, Austria for Christmas and I am thinking of booking a short side hunt with them for Wild Boar and Fallow Deer. Any feedback would be appreciated.

They look like a booking agent, but they have a lot of reviers in Tyrol which is close. Finding a good place that has openings for gams in Tyrol is getting hard.

It would be quite hard work on chamois at that time - they'd be in the trees and the weather in the high Alps is "interesting"! I've hunted there a couple of times in November and that was quite harsh at times.

I have a hunt this Spring with them in Hungary.will let you know how it turns out. They are not good at responding which I find often with European outfits. Certainly not a slap on everyone but just something I have run into.

Customer service is not a European trait.

No knock on them, the failure of it is now a global phenominon.

But honestly for them it is show season. Salzburg is next week, Dortmund was last week, the British Shooting show and one in Scandahoovia is currently going on.

I have American companies all over the country that you have to chase down to give your money to.

Look how badly Kuiu is ran, and people are still knocking on the door.

I hunted boars in a high fenced area very close to the Vienna airport. Wasn't much of a hunt, but my partner in Austria paid for it so I didn't complain.

Was there close to Christmas once as well; fabulous place. I would make sure I toured the Hapsburg mansion, etc. if I were you. The Vienna Boys choir is something MsAZW wanted to see, as well as the Lipizzanner Stallions.
