"This roe buck was shot on June 4th on an afternoon/evening outing on Royal deeside estates. Stalker Klaus Olofsen was familiar with this massive buck but never imagined it would be this unique. We have shot some really nice trophies this season where 20% of roe bucks taken so far have been rated as medal class trophies. However, the outcome of that particular afternoon outing was a trophy in a league of its own. The pre-evaluation of this trophy has estimated it to gain a massive 213.6 points (CIC). In such case it may possibly place it as a CIC registered record in both Scotland and in the UK."

Amazing Trophy.

There was some speculation on another site that the skull had been cut too soon. I don't know if that is a legitimate concern or not. If I had shot it, it would be getting a full shoulder mount.

Just because you are paranoid, doesn't mean they are not out to get you....

Hi Brian

Yes I saw that. I can only assume that the guy who shot it isn't overly concernd about doing everything he can to ensure that the head scores as highly as possible. Besides it will have to go some to beat the current Scottish record head and a whole lot to beat Marco PW's UK record buck.

I'm not into stuffed heads myself so a decent shield with a brass plate on the back detailing time, place and weight would do me.

The Roe buck trophy is by Steen Breith (Nordic Safari Club) pre measured with 217.73 CIC points (768 g.) placing it in first place at CIC record list of bucks in Scotland and possibly throughout the UK.

However, there is trophies in UK who have had more points, but either they are abnormal in the sense that the skull is abnormal bone growth or The Roe buck has been found dead. These Roe Buck may not be placed on the list (CIC) of registered approved trophies.
