I would start with bushnell.

This probably don't help much, but my 6-24 4200 B&L came with short target knobs. Doesn't Stoney Point make target knobs for Bushnell scopes?

Stoney Point makes one set of knobs that I know of that use the existing slot that you can stick a quarter in, I have heard that they work really good.

The problem with Stoney Point knobs is that there is no rotation counter - once you go past one spin, you are can forget where you are.

The Bushnell Elite 4200 has a rotation counter, but the lines are so close together that they are just about impossible to see.

I love my 6-24 Elite 4200 as far as repeatability goes when dialing up and down and the clarity and definition of the glass!!!....HOWEVER!!!! Who ever had the idea of making the "MOA" numbers so small and then making them yellow or gold(I can't tell which!!!) ought to get an ear full!!! A good set of target knobs would make this scope just about perfect!!! GHD

Take a look at the Nikon's. Great target knobs on the high-magnification monarchs and even now on the 4.5-14 and 6-18 Buckmasters. They even come with two types of knobs: one set tall and thin (and the caps fit over) and one set short and wider (can't use caps). The work well, don't slip, and are easy to read, too!

tmoore, I probably had 3 or the BUCKMASTERS 6-18's before anybody else around here had them!!!.......Nikon's are good...no, great!!!! And if the BUSHNELLS had those turrets on them, they'd have been great also!!!! Nikons are good!!! Too bad they didn't announce the "side focus" feature a bit earlier!!! GHD
