Hi John. Good to hear from you again. I'm working on a couple of switch barrels as well, one based on 223 case head size and the other on basic magnum case size. As to your xmas dilemna (sp?), I would go with the 204, it sounds like a fun round.

I don't know about you, but if my 22-250 shot 1/2" groups at 650yds, I think I'd wouldn't do one darn thing to the barrel, but instead, go buy another gun to shoot the bigger bullet you are wanting to shoot for what ever purpose.

Ok, my mistake.....but I still wouldn't change my statement that I would leave it alone. That's not to bad where I come from.
