Someone should be able to answer your questions over there. I wouldnt be too surprized if NEF came out with a 243WSM or some other short mag. soon anyway. | the other answer would be, no, you could not rechamber it to 243wsm. there is not way to set the barrel back like you could with a bolt rifle, and the wsm is shorter. |

| I think I confused myself (this is amazingly easy to do unfortunately)... Winchester lists 243 WSSM and then 270 WSM as factory loads... What's up with that? I apparently need to do more research. I thought WSM and WSSM were the same line of cartridges. Ruger#1 |
