From reading your posts, you just won't be happy until you have a new leuy with the latest whistle and bell. And you want us to talk you into it. A shared responsibility thing. So, go for it! Get the Leuy. Say you're buying it as a legacy for your oldest son.

George Capriola, If you can't see the 17 holes in the target at 100 yards using the Nikon 6.5-20, either you need to see your optometrist or adjust the scope properly! I've had both the Leupold 6.5-20's and the Nikon's and I still own the Nikon's!!! The next varmint scope I get will more than likely be a Nikon also. GHD

what about a sightron? i have heard a lot of good things about them. i want to pick up a 4-16 or a 6-24 for my ar-15 varmint rig pending funds(wife needs a job). have any of you guys used one?
