These bullets kick butt. I busted 3 groundhogs last Saturday one at 247yds, 112yds, and one at about 50yds. I also shot a crow that afternoon that was so far I didn't feel like stepping it off I would guess about 400 yds. If you haven't experimented with these bullets, I would recomend them. I am shooting them in my HOWA 1500 chambered for 22-250 Rem. I am using a Fed. 210 primer and winchester brass along with 35gr. of H4895.

What kind of expansion are you getting with your VLC's. I've found that they will go through a woodchuck and barely expand. I want devistating expansion and I don't think I was getting it with the VLC's. On another note, they shot better than any other bullet I've tried, and believe me I've tried a lot of them.

Girth, What the heck kind of user name is that? Are you trying to inclose unneeded information. I shot a chuch las week and had very little expansion with these bullets. But they sure fly good. Im seeing around 1/4 inch groups.

They don't expand like some bullets that I have shot but they shoot better than any other bullet that I have tried too. As far as expansion goes though they were plenty enough to tear up a groundhog. I am pleased with them. I think they would be good for the occasional coyote too, I haven't tried them on one yet though.
