Every couple hundred years, Friday the 13th occurs in February. The interesting thing, is that due to the 28 day month, it also occurs the next month, in March.

Beware...

Well the day after Mar 13 is:

3/14/15

So what is the mathematical significance of the numbers that make up that date besides only happening once every century?

The people who gave Friday the 13th THE BAD REP WAS THE KNIGHT'S TEMPLARS when the king of France rounded them up falsely charged them tortured them, burned them at the stake and stole all their wealth.

I guess, if you can't repay your loan, killing everybody who loaned it to you is the next best thing.

February 13th, 1328, iirc...?

Friday, October 13th, 1307.

In 2015 there is a third one, in November. Does this make for a particularly unlucky year? I don't know. ... but I'm going to try to be real careful just the same. Smiler

13 was the birthing day of my Mom. 5 children, 3 born on the 13th, one late on the 12th, and one on the 26th.

I was 13 on Friday the 13th. Sep 1968. My next brother was a December born on the 13th baby. Every Friday the 13th in Sep is followed by a Friday the 13th in Dec.

I am exceptionally unlucky at Lotto drawings, finding 200 inch whitetails and 22 inch black bears. If I had only been born on the 14th....

Since no one answered, here it is:

Tomorrow, 3/14/15 at 9:26:53 AM (and PM), the date and time will represent the first 10 digits of π in perfect order. This is a once-in-a-century phenomenon—the Ultimate Pi Day.
