I couldn't believe they were shooting at 50 and 100 yards with a springfield 1903. That gun is capable of much longer ranges than that.
Yes they are, reality is however, how many shots need to be taken at lonegr ranges, and how many people are able/capable of doing so?
I have not watched the show, nor will I if given the chance.
What is or should be at question with this show, has nothing to do with the abilities/capabilities of the Equipment being used, but with the same parameters of the people being featured. JMO.
I went over to my 82 year old Mother's house yesterday to do regular "chores" and she was watching this program....and was totally engrossed in it, she wouldn't even leave the TV long enough to complain about the neighbors!
Saw a little bit of it. Turned into a Little Girly cat fight "he's talking about me" "he's dose't respect me". Its even worse than the trick shooters on TV. I can't remember the the name of the old fart that is supose to be such a great shotgun trick shooter but on duck hunting shows he dose about as good as every one else. I guess the ducks won"t come back in for a retake.

Hopefully we see Blake shoot a little. He lives about 15 miles from me. I do not know him even though we share a couple of common friends, but I have to pull for the hometown shooter.
I feel the show has been positive for the shooting sports, which is much more than we can say for about 99% of what we see on TV.
