Any relatively easy process to stain Elkhorn to look like amber Sambar stag?Thanks.

I use wood stain. Zar is a good brand. Where are you at in Louisiana?

No prep needed. You might test stain a piece of antler or bone first. It can get pretty dark dependent on the shade of stain you use.

Thanks.Ken Eversull uses aniline dyes on stocks but has to mix colors to get it right.sounds like a disaster waiting to happen for me!
