I need to sharpen a couple of filet/boning knives and wanted to use my Lansky kit. Should I use 20 degrees or 17 degrees? thanks

I use the 17 degree for filet / bone knives. I think that is the lansky instruction in the kit as well.

This is about the average around here. I bought mine 15 years ago or so and wouldn`t be without one. http://www.dunhamssports.com/searchHandler/index.jsp?se...1571&keywords=lansky ------------------------------------ The trouble with the Internet is that it's replacing masturbation as a leisure activity. ~Patrick Murray "Why shouldn`t truth be stranger then fiction?
