got the chance to handle a wilson # 17 clasic fighter, it is awesome! in the most! it is a one piece integral knife of machined d2 the blade is 1/4" the hilt is about 1" thick it is amazing. check out there other stuff. tell me what you think and let me know if you own one of their knives. they all look great. i think i might have one for christmas

I had one of the earlier ones and ended up trading it off. It was quite nicely made but was 440c steel which is OK but not the best. And the earlier model had both finger guards at 90deg to the blade and didn't really feel right in the hand.
I think the new model with D-2 and angled guards fixed all the problems of the earlier model and probably is a great knife..........DJ
