These knives will be going in the mail soon. They were made for a forum member. The handle material on the top knife is fiddleback Myrtle and tiger Myrtle for the bottom knife. The beautiful wood was provided by Cecil Fredi. Lee baumgartknives@gmail.com http://baumgarthandmadeknives.blogspot.com/

I think I like the profile of the bottom one better. Great looking knives!

jfromswk, Both knives are from the same pattern. There might be some slight differences because I grind everything free hand, without the use of jigs of any kind. I am not the best photographer, so I think the difference in profiles you are seeing is because they are sitting on the sheaths at different angles. Regardless, I appreciate your comment. Thanks, Lee baumgartknives@gmail.com http://baumgarthandmadeknives.blogspot.com/

What steel did you use? Very nice knives. xxxxxxxxxx When considering US based operations of guides/outfitters, check and see if they are NRA members. If not, why support someone who doesn't support us? Consider spending your money elsewhere. NEVER, EVER book a hunt with BLAIR WORLDWIDE HUNTING or JEFF BLAIR. do you make a hunter, skinner, caper set that goes in the same sheath. It would be fun to see a photo of it.

lindy2, I make the three types of knives you listed, but have never made a combined sheath for all three. That's a little beyond my leather working abilities. ZekeShikar, Thank you. Lee

Lee, your talent is easy to see in your knives. Leather work is easy for a man w/ your talent/skill. I taught myself. You can too. One thing I will have you do when you make my knives/sheaths is make the sheath a crossdraw. Just a thought.
