You ought to go to www.bladeforums.com with that question. Titanium knives have limited use since they can't be hardened to more than 45-50 Rc. The best feature is great corrosion resistance. | |||

Thanks for the link Mete. AS you may have guessed, I'm interested in the corrosion resistance aspect. It looks like we will be going on a bareboat cruise in the mediterrranean in summer '05, and so I got to thinking about a diving knife. A little browsing got me interested in titanium as a material for a dive knife, but haven't found much practical working information yet. But I have a year and a half so I'm in no hurry. | |||
