Titanium knife making
I have not been able to come up with any links. Does anyone know of any? Just curious how this stuff is to work with and what sort of finished product you end up with.

You ought to go to www.bladeforums.com with that question. Titanium knives have limited use since they can't be hardened to more than 45-50 Rc. The best feature is great corrosion resistance.

Thanks for the link Mete.

AS you may have guessed, I'm interested in the corrosion resistance aspect. It looks like we will be going on a bareboat cruise in the mediterrranean in summer '05, and so I got to thinking about a diving knife. A little browsing got me interested in titanium as a material for a dive knife, but haven't found much practical working information yet. But I have a year and a half so I'm in no hurry.
