I am looking for info to load a Rem 742 woodsmaster autoloader in excellent condition. Primarily for harvesting deer at short to medium ranges . Also need tips for avoiding related autoloader malfunctions that may occur with some reloads......Thanks.....Hutt

1.You will need some small base dies.

2. I reload 2 different bullets 100gr Rem. core loks and 95gr Nosler part. 100gr partition should work just fine I got the 95gr at a close out price 5grs won't make a diff. 40grs of RL-19 W/Rem. 9.5 primers.

I load this for my youngest son deer & antelope size game he gets a solid 3-shot 1" to 1.5" groups @ 100 with it.
