I have a CZ 550 Lux in 9.3X62, topped with a Weaver Grand Slam 3.5X10X50. I load Lapua brass. 60 gr. of 4320 under a 250gr. Ballisic Tip gives me 2530 fps. 60 gr. of H-414 and a Speer 270 gr. bullet produces 2300 fps. I have some loads made up with 200 gr. Hawk bullets, but I haven't chronagraphed them yet.

I have used the 250 gr Barnes X with a compressed load of VV N-550 powder in Norma brass quite successfully on game including springbuck through eland. The 232 gr Oryx shoots very well in both my rifles (FN and Husqvarna Mausers) but I have not taken game with it.

I don't use 232 bullets but 286 only. My load with 286 Nosler Partition is 54.6 grains of Norma 201. My Bwana companion shoots 56gr IMR 4895 to the same point of impact. Very accurate in both loads. The Norma is factory duplication load.
Use in Africa from Steenbuck to Kudu with great effect.

Case Lapua
Primer WLR
Powder VVN135 59gr
COL 3.1" (miles off lands)
Bullet 232gr Norma Vulkan or Oryx

MV 2,600fps from 24" barrel

Very accurate, quite flat and has accounted for a bull calf (could have been shot with a 243) and a bull which would not have been bagged with a lesser caliber seeing as I shot through a tree in front of him (unitentialy).

IMHO the Vulkan may be a better bullet than the Oryx in this calibre which is just as well as the 232gr Oryx is now discontinued.
