| Same as Dan's but I use a Win case and primer, 33 grains of IMR 4064 in a 1-7.5" twist. Best wind shooter I've ever owned all the way back to 1000. Dan's load of 36 gr 4350 is one I worked up to as well but in my rig, the ES was too high (>100 fps). Beats the pants off my Palma rig. Mark

| experimenting lately, I have found that the starting load of using Benchmark, for bullet weights from 40 to 55 grains, is giving me one hole 5 shot groups at 100 yds!!!
this has proven consistent in all five of the 22.250s I have. from sporter weight barrels to heavy 28 inch custom varmint barrels.
IMPortant tho, this is using CCI and Federal Large Rifle primers..
last week tried the same load utilizing Win Large Rifle primers and the same load gave 3 to 4 inch groups!
Also, REDIAL's load of 33 grains with the 4064, using 75 and 80 grain Match or AMAX bullets ( actually I use 33.3 grains) in a one in 7 twist custom barrel.. that works consistently accurate for me right out to 800 meters, which is as far as our range has available to shoot...
IMR 4895 with the same charge of 33.3 grains is also just as accuate with those heavier bullet weights. |

| Just started loading for the 22-250. Mine is a Remington sps Varmint model. 32 grains of 4895 under a 55 grain Nosler BT and CCI primers. Hornaday brass. I threw one of the 5 shots but the other 4 were in a 1/2 inch group. Need to repeat it though as this was the first load I tried after barrel break in.
