Would like to hear what your favorite load is in a single shot rifle with the 44 Mag. Just biought a 44 mag Browning/Winchester 1885 low wall in 44 Mag. It has a 1 in 20" twist rate. Would lke to shoot some cast bullet plinking and have an accurate load for that. Would like to hear your suggestions. | ||

My Marlin 1894 44 mag. Loves 19.5 grains of W296 under a 300 grain WFN GC. CCI Mag pistol primer. I get 1600 fps out of an 18" barrel, and very good accuracy. I load them by the hundreds. Great load! | |||
