Trying to downsize.

Oil tanned dark brown leather chinks. These are just the best obtainable. A flapped pocket with a rolled button on the left leg.

Long, evenly spaced fringe all the way from the waist, yoke. Three leg straps and buckles. Silver plated Texas star conchos.

The outside seam of your jeans corresponds to the location of the conchos. From the basket stamped yokes to the bottom of the fringe measure 35". Basket stamped belt that buckles in the back, with a smaller strap buckling in the front. Basket stamped leg plates.

Wore them once or twice. But as you can see they're essentially new.

Nothing on earth will compare, much less for $350.

$350 + $30 shipping.

Chinks in Idaho need the fringe long enough to keep the snow brushed off the boots extending out the stirrup to keep the boot dry and somewhat warmer..The other option is toe fenders (Tapaderos) sometimes lined with sheep skin, sometimes not..

I like chinks for summer and fall work, and for every day in the Southwest.. shotguns in the winter, If the brush and cactus is heavy then bat wings or shotguns are best..

Your chinks are A-1 first class, the very,, best...

From the looks of the buckle marks on your rear billet, your horse must have gained a lot of weight. LOL

Nice chinks though.

That mule was never crazy about the leather back cinch so I tried using a mohair cinch and she liked that a lot better but it was too short, hence the lower buckle holes on the back billet.

I had to give up on it because it picked up too many weed seeds.

Try one of the Feather Flex back cinches by Classic Equine..Most Western stores carry them, they are soft virgin neoprene, they lubricate and will not twist, won't pick up stuff as they are slick. Smiths and National Ropers Supplyin Texas has a good line of cinches..

Your well decked out there old friend, good equipment throughout..I even like your mules, they have all been well bred and maintained. If I had to ride mules, Id definatly look you up and try to bargain.. rotflmo
