JJ_Miller450/400 Ammo Arrived Today..............
I got a case of the ammo today from Hornady for my Ruger No. 1 450/400. It worked out to 100 soft and 100 solids. I'll have enough brass to last a life time.
To the door it came out to $1008.00 !! My wife is going to nail my bag to a stump

Woodrow SJJ, thats full suggested retail price. Ray Tanner in Pa. has it on gunbroker for < 70/box. He has 30 boxes of each on hand. I would be asking for a refund of some $$$.

That's what happens when you deal direct with the Manufacturer. Retailers / Stockists will always be cheaper than the Manufacturer.

JJ_MillerI'd rather not bid on ammo. Who knows how high the bidding will go.
As of today Midway, Graff & Sons, Mid-South, Cabelas did not have any on hand. I may have most of mine shot up before they see any ammo.................JJ

Ditto.
Just shoot it and enjoy it.
You can worry about it when you're dead.

Rick RSomewhere in Southern WV there's a jeweler who's about to be very happy...
This time around I have a very happy healthy marriage. This is based on my mantra.
For marital bliss repeat after me
" Honey I am wrong
I was wrong from the beginning
You are right
You were right from the beginning
Can you Forgive me!"
If you use this phrase with total sincerity in your voice at least twice a day you will amazed at how smoothly things will run and how quickly a large ammo purchase will be forgiven.
