hi jiri, visit www.cheyennetactical.com and take the time to download and read the articles dealing with development and testing of the .408 for details. the cartrige was developed as a military round, thus no need to use a bullet diameter already common with hunting calibers, bullets are specially made anyway. probably they also wanted to have something "different" on purpose ![]() as to hunting with this round, if you want to lug around such a rifle, why not? still, you'd need suitable bullets (Gerard? ![]() regards, dcjs | ||
