Here's a video of me firing a Tromix modified Great Lakes Firearms GL-10 chambered in 375 Remington Ultra Mag.

I like AR's I own a few.

I admirer the workmanship and skill to make one.

But not for me as a hunting rifle.

Interesting, but I just don't understand the total infatuation with the AR type platform. I do hope it continues as then all of those obsolete wood stocked Rigby's, H&H's, Purdeys, G&H, and others will be able to be obtained by simply trading a plastic and aluminum AR platform rifle for one. I am sure that the one pictured is not near the price of an original Rigby-Mauser 416, so I will still come out ahead. I have owned and used several AR platform rifles, but in all honesty I would choose a Mini 14 over an AR-15, my FAL over an AR-10, and also use my M-1 Garand. I am an old fart, if you haven't guessed.....
