Anyone know of one to rent, or for sale? And since this ctg is a cast bullet candidate, what neck diameter is recommended? 577NE is .605, but I think that is too tight for the BPE version. If you shoot a .587 bullet through a .585 groove, you are going to need a .610 neck no? Couple things The reamer is simple enough , just ring up ch4d or Manson and wait a bit. But the design is so easy a half reamer could likely be made Cases... You need to measure your brass, as I expect you will be using 577 brass, which will have to be cut down and the walls will be thicker than spec. opinions vary band of bubbas and STC hunting Club Information on Ammoguide about the416AR, 458AR, 470AR, 500AR What is an AR round? Yes cut down Bertram runs 10 thou at the mouth. Figuring a cast bullet has to be a couple thou over, circa .587", calls for a chamber .607" at the case mouth. I found a dwg online that showed .610". Bottom line hate to make a reamer to use once. There has to be one "floating" around out there. Hello Russ, If you order a reamer from Manson, he gives preference to AR members for delivery time, and he will refund "half" your cost if you write a nice article about your project and publish it here on AR. If you piblish an article about the project in a national publication, he will refuns "all" your cost. see my article about my 577 T-Rex project. http://forums.accuratereloadin...043/m/8701029832/p/1 " .... you never pay too much for something, you only buy it too early ....
