Is there anyone using this cartridge ( not the H&H flanged ) with a 270 grainer in a 22 or 23 inch barrel?
I'm curious to see the velocity differences between these and the 24" barrel. I'm about to fit a 24" barrel to my LSA Enfield and I'm concerned about it being cumbersome and unwieldly.

I have had a couple 375 2-1/2" rifles in the past and found it to be no problem to get 2100 fps with 270s and still-mild pressures. And at those kind of pressures, a difference of an inch or two in barrel length didn't seem to make any difference.

It's a nice cartridge; pretty much duplicates 450 3-1/4" BPE ballistics in a smaller, smokeless package.

Have one but have not fired it. You won't find any difference in this low intensity cartridge with two more inches of barrel more or less.
Build the length you want.
