Good looking loads, around 4500ftlb levels. Some people try to push the 375 Ruger up towards 5000 ft# but the only acceptable reason for that would be accuracy. 4500 ft# is a comfortable level. +-+-+-+-+-+-+ "A well-rounded hunting battery might include: 500 AccRel Nyati, 416 Rigby or 416 Ruger, 375Ruger or 338WM, 308 or 270, 243, 223" -- Conserving creation, hunting the harvest.

Very nice results. I also like Reloader 17 with the 270gr bullets. Works real well.

Good to know. Thanks ! Phil Shoemaker : "I went to a .30-06 on a fine old Mauser action. That worked successfully for a few years until a wounded, vindictive brown bear taught me that precise bullet placement is not always possible in thick alders, at spitting distances and when time is measured in split seconds. Lucky to come out of that lesson alive, I decided to look for a more suitable rifle."
