It was a pleasure meeting you guys, looking at all the fine rifles, and shooting the match. I hope to have a DR for the next one.

I'd like to toss in my thanks to everyone for helping make our 3rd "Hoot & Shoot" a great success! Jeffe, BobC, HogKiller, Mjines, Mark, 400 NitroExpress for lending a hand.

Higlight of the day was watching those people who fired BigDog's toys! The 4 Bore and the 700 Nitro Express got everyone's attention. Andy and Lee440 head the list!

Rodney's 505 Gibbs with the muzzle break on, send concussion waves through all of us! I mean we are all truning around and looking at each other asking, "Did you feel that?" WOW!

Thank you, to all who showed up, and visited with old and new friends alike! ARBBA and the DRSS once again have proven to be a great bunch of guys, who really enjoy each other's company!
I was very proud to, once again, be among such good people!

Thanks again to BAYOU RIFLES, INC. for hosting our event!
We appreciate all the support we get from the board of directors and membership.

It was great fun! Thanks to The Big Dog for bringing out the Howitzers, after firing the 4 bore my life is complete!! I still can't believe I hit the milk jug, but that might have been a hallucination from the concussion I suffered! Thanks, as usual, to Rusty and Jeff and all the others who make this event happen, it takes a bunch of time and work to organize these events, and we all appreciate it! Call me in advance for the next one and let me help out in any way.
I am glad my eyes uncrossed so I could write this!! Lee.

That was great fun. Lots of nice toys out there. My son enjoyed holding one of the 4 bore anti-aircraft shells.

What a great day at the shoot. Always the greatest of folks and the food was very good too. I'm still absorbing everything from the knowledge shared to the very fine rifles. I'm going to be in awe for a while!
Very special thanks to Rusty, Jeffeosso, Hogkiller, Bigdoggy700 and everyone.
Rodney.

P.S. You missed a good one Rich! Big Grin

Great get together,of some old friends, and many new ones as well!

The list of fine firearms displeyed would take a book of print, and pictures to cover well. The food was very good, and the members of Bayou Rifles gun club did a bang up job on this Shoot & Hoot.

Bid Doggy's cannons were the talk of the event, and many shooter can claim experience with shooting them.

Saw some of the old Codgers, and the infirm like myself (MacD37), Keeth (Hog Killer), and Jeffeoso, and a bunch of young, healthy guys and girls as well.

All in all this was a real sucess, and I along with all the Texas members of DRSS, and ARBBA want to say we enjoyed those traveling here from other states, and to invite you all back for future shoots down here in the Lone Star State, "Ya'll come on back down heah, Ya Heah!"
