Anyone done this to any Zastava action? What's entailed, other than a ream job, to make it feed?

Both of my Whitworth .458WinMags had 3.4" mag box length. One of mine was kept original except to oil-finish the decent wood of its "safari stock." The other says Whitworth on the action but it came to me as a slick-barreled factory-stamped .458WinMag. It got opened up to 3.6" box length by a gunsmith, then gray parkerized and stuck in a Brown Precision stock with barrel lug and sights added. You speak as if your .458 Whitworth has a long box already. Mine were not opened up by the factory, but came as standard M98 length. Getting one of those and having a gunsmith install proper bottom metal the proper way ... is the way to go.

All the ones I've seen the 458 was a 3.4" and the 375 3.6 opened mostly in the front. As usual just my $.02 Paul K

My experience too, but Ray Atkinson used to argue with me about your point and mine. He insisted the .458WinMag Whitworth came with a 3.6" box length.
